I work and live away from home, so life can get a little dull sometimes. I'm seeking people whom I can spend time with---go see a show, picnic in the park, or just hang out together. Not necessarily BFFs, but at least people I can get together with to enjoy their company from time to time. If something more comes about, then that's icing on the cake, but it isn't required or expected. I'm a quiet man who appreciates the simple things---walks in the woods, strolls in the park, days at/on the lake, mountain cabins, back riding, wine by the fireplace, (camp) fireside chats, hot tubs, etc. I do carry a couple extra pounds. I don't exercise regularly, but my job keeps me relatively fit. Fit enough, at least, to hold my own in a friendly wrestling match.

My Ideal Person First and formost, I am looking to make friends. I wish to meet people of all ages, couples included. While I am not bisexual, I am definitely open to making new male friends. It would be nice to have some male friends to hang with from time to time.

My taste in women is eclectic; I like women of all ages who share my interests and/or who might be able to show me something new. I only ask that you be young at heart. I think long hair is sexy, especially when it's down. I also like "country girls" who are down-to-earth, who love animals, and who love nature. If she has horses or has access to them, she instantly earns 10 extra points in my book. She has to be somewhat fit... not someone who works out every day, but someone who cares enough about her body to be able to jog up a flight of stairs without getting winded. Ethnically, I prefer caucasians and women of what I like to call "exotic" origin. I stress that I am looking for both singles and couples. I wish to make friends and then go from there. Finally, I frequently travel between Columbia and Champaign, so I'm seeking friends near both.
